Nothing like a herd of Elk hanging out in a canyon to make you stop and play tourist. Taken just outside Twin Falls Idaho.
And of course one has to stop and search for Studebaker's in a small town old car yard. There were four of them. Can you find them in this picture.
After a week of riding all over northern Washington and watching other people work! (yawn what a hard task, my only function on this trip is playing tourist and irritating my son) We flew down to Sacramento for an overnight visit to the Pacific Zone Studebaker Show. Click on link below if you want to see the one hundred cars-trucks that attended. before you ask them are not my legs, i haven't been that white since birth. This has been a fun trip, been sailing, ferry boat riding, had every kind of sea food meal from oyster poor boys to mahi mahi tacos yuppie style. Attended two car shows, a Studebaker meet, two of the biggest car museums in the U.S. (the LeMay Museum has over one thousand cars on display, which is only one third of their collection). Wandered in and out of one Antique shops after another and spent way too much time in the hotel hot tub. (but where else are you going to see bikinis in 60 degree weather). Only one more week of roaming left. Then it's back to my adobe and Studebaker's. I still don't know what i'm going to do with that impulse buy six volt spotlight?
Life is good when you eat dessert first.
