We arrive in the great ceder Rapids area and partake of fun and sun. And doing what i feel was great entertainment. Shopping the Studebaker flea market trying to find some cheap parts for Midge the wagon. And going to car museums in the area.
On the last day i hear this excited call from the showroom area of our final museum of the week. I found you the perfect car i want to buy for you she shouts and it;s a Studebaker bullet nose. Excitement rises in my chest as i dash the length of a football poster, camera in hand and at ready. It's perfect for your old and chubby self she says as i arrive breathless after that 7 foot sprint. And the sign say good for 500 pound load she so nicely pointed out.
I knew at that moment what the ride home was going to be like. You just can't be nice to some people. But thats okay i still took her to the gopher hole museum of Oaklahoma. We are friends after all.
