So far all attempt to track down the rumored 53 coupe have been to no avail. Although i did find a 49 chop top merc. Then i started talking about war stuff on Guam and a co-worker said i have a friend that is building a museum. After naming some other stuff the word Weasel popped up. As did my ears, you mean a real live Studebaker weasel. Huh said he Studebaker i didn't know. So off we went and sure enough there she sat a little rough, a few things missing, but a real live running weasel. Not if i can only get to drive it. Or the 1941 Indian scout a few feet away. Click on link below and see what she looked like new. The 53 coupe maybe next time.http://www.wwiivictory.org/node/43

That would be a sight to see,if you get so lucky to drive it make sure you get a picture. Maybe there is hope yet that you'll getto drive a Guam Studebaker.
Good luck on the 53 coupe. Looks like your really keeping busy. I mean slaving away! Agree thats a cool spot and water fall you found. I see Christine's been getting you around nicely. Check ya latter.
I would like a ride in that studebaker--ha. The Jungle sounds like it is spooky. The falls and gardens are pretty, a nice getaway spot. We are home, had a good time, everyone sends their love.
