After a short Saturday slaving away at the office and a yummy Bento Box lunch of BBQ Chicken and tempura shrimp. Compliments of one of the co-workers who unlike me stayed longer to work harder. The sman snuck out the back Jack and hit it on the lam for a cruse up a new road. Behold a sign that said Tamo Falls and botanical garden. With a screech of the brakes and an illegal u-turn (hey I'm learning local customs back off). It was off to the falls and flowers, 200 stairs and jungle trails, and a nervous eye out for them legendary brown tree snakes. I got to the falls $5.00 poorer but well worth it all. I love waterfalls and this one was way cool.
But i kept hearing all these strange noises, a mix of drums and birds singing, and squeaks, all very musical almost like a Jamaican band warming up in a distance. i finally tracked it down. It was a small grove of bamboo some new some old and some dried. And when the wind blew through it the music began. Something new singing Bamboo.
What a great place to go for some peace and quiet, and a little communing with mother nature. Unfortunately i had to commune this time with my clothes on.If your ever in the neighborhood don't pass this one up. It's a short walk and its worth the $5.00
How you commune is your choice.

Ah, yes...I am well aware of the Smith form of communing with nature "au naturel." Apparently our children have inherited it...with a vengeance! Thankfully, I'm all for the Garden of Eden look, myself. Can't go wrong with what God gave you!
