Return to South Padre Island while the tourist count and spring breakers are low.

Up early in the high winds and cloudy skies for a return to Port Isabel. And South Padre Island.

1st up Isla Blanca Park and it's beach access boardwalks, and high dollar RV park with some sites having ocean view. This is a big park, with an event center .Party time central. Just a quick review visit while I drank my coffee. Not my cup of beach tea.

Next a drive to the far end of the island with lots of beach walk in and drive and camping access A few Rv's lots of cars and P/Us and of course that one fat belly, rat bearded flag flying jerk screaming as he went by. Seems everyone was in his way. Lots of park along the road and walk in beack also but it's a about a 1/4 mile walk. Lot's of sand dunes on this end.

Next up a visit to Joes Oyster Bar and seafood market in old town Port Isabel one block away from the light house and higher priced food. I got the smeller $11.00 plater which turned out to be a blow my calorie limit belly filler.

and a short visit to the storm damage of the past

Cruised home and did a drive through the Adolph Thomae Jr. County Park which is at the end of Arroyo City main drag. RV sites for the most part back up to the sea wall. But at $450 a month or $30.00 are to spendy for me. But great for fishing, trail hiking, and bird watching.

At last it back at the home site and my kitchen and gym
