Wandering to the White sand

 Side trip before the big trip. A return to the dunes. Things have changed a bit since last visit 4 years ago. Picnic canopies even in the campground area. Park is only partially open for day use only. Hickling trails closed, no night activities. But always a great place to visit. 

Next up a quick stop in the way back, in the uphill side of the road to Alamogordo. At an old burnt garage and some ghetto art. Didn't notice the Hazmat level 3 sign till afterwards. Ooops. 

Not sure what this cave was/is  Speculation long lost gold mine or? 

Skies views were fantastic, but most of my pictures didn't turn out. But I like this one. 

End of day, short trip. Started late so after taco supper. It was roll back to TorC.
