Now i needed advice so i went to visit an expert. Boy he say you gots to learn something i found out back in 1917. By the way you got some nerve calling me a dummy. Find a local cook get her recipe and cook them vitals up yourself. It's the personal touch that will make people learn to like you. Although in your case thats going to be a hard road. Here's the name of a famous island cook and if you kiss her sister she will give you a secret Kelaguen recipie that is known to only a few. Now go away i don't want anyone to see us together.
So off i went following the directions given to me to find this mysterous local cook. Since there is no interior maps of Guam you have to use local landmarks. So i took the 4 until i seen the orange juice sign and turned left on the second road past the third coconut tree. Up over the hill past the yellow bus stop with the green lettering go 20 feet then turn right and follow the road till you come to a house that looks like a mansion. Don't go there, go to the little house across the street where the dog is barking. And ask for Tata Anna. seven hours fourteen minutes later and a new tank of gas, i finally got to meet the cook. But recipe or no recipie i'm not kissing the sister.
Two Octipie, seven tire dried toads, 1 cup of viniger, salt, pepper, and three minced local hot peppers. Finely chop all ingredeents and put in large glass bowl overnight.
I only managed to find one tire dried toad so i used the optional dried brown tree snake.
My advice after this adventure. Kiss the sister. You'll get a better recipie, you won't get thrown out of the lunch room by 20 irate women, and you won't suffer the after effects of the taste testing. One thing for sure! If i get invited to anymore BYOF lunchs i'll bet they'll take the money and not ask me to BMOF.
