A View from A Lanai

Not to be satisfied with just one patio to dine on, it was time to check out the sunset grill's Lania style dinning for lunch. And see if the rumors of it's pulled pork sandwiches were correct.

After a big dish of smoked oysters and crackers and a great sandwich and potato salad (sorry weight watchers i ate the mayo) and cool non-adult beverage. What more could one ask for than to sit back and enjoy the view from a lania (patio to you landlocked ocean deprived folks) while a group of folks froliced in the water and on the beach. I may never be able to eat in a chain resturant again, this is way better than a view of a parking lot.

And to make the day complete it was back to the Barrista for mocha latte's on the patio for sunset. Life is good in the gypsy world.

Do you know how to make oyster stuffing?

yes you just add the oysters to your normal stuffing, safeway usually has some fresh ones at hiloday time, Be sure and use the juice to keep from losing the flavor.

I love it, yo mamma hated it. But then i hated her mommas soupy stuff so i guess it was a wash.

Best cook it as a side dish instead of in the turkey

if you decide to use smoked oysters. do not use the oil from the can. Drain them well and pat the extra off. They have to strong a flover to add the extra from the oil.
