In 2001 during my first trip to Guam i climbed up this rock to take pictures from the top (Lovers point they call it).
When i got up there i discovered there was a bench so i sat down to enjoy the view and take my pictures
Little did i know that i would get some kind of coral in the skin of my rear that turned onto septic poisoning about a week later. It came close to being the end of me by a matter of hours.
Ad took two weeks of massive anti-biotics every four hours around the clock. By that time i had taken so much and so many of them i had an allergic reaction and had to be saved again with more drugs.
So when i got back here the first place i wanted to visit was killer rock. No old rock got nothin on me.

Well, many things come to mind about this post. Glad to hear something was a pain in your a** for a change, is a good one. But since you faced your arch rival the Rock I will just say....Nice to hear from you I was getting a little worried you should post more!
Dispite the bad outcome the view from the top is way cool. At one time there used to be a walking bridge from where i'm standing to whats left of the stairway on the side of the rock. but a typhoon knocked it down long ago and it's never been put back up. next time i go there i intend to get back to the top. not as easy as it looks.

Hmmm...I have to ask...were you wearing any clothes the last time you were there? I see you went the safe route and wore clothes this time around just to be safe... I mean, how else would your injury have happened? :o)
Hey, Dude. Went to the Pavilions and parked tonight. Had a great time. Was pleased to see just normal people there. The rat rod truck (flame job) from the Studebaker show made the cover of Rat Rods magazine. You might want to check it out.
